ADV co-founder, Matt Greenfield , said the reason Yohko was chosen as the first release was because "we wanted something that was really very unique, that people were going to say 'Whoa! What was that? Devil Hunter Yohko is about a boy-crazy sixteen-year-old girl named Yohko Mano who banishes demons from the Earth.
Yohko is voiced by Aya Hisakawa in the original Japanese dialogue. In the English dubbed version she is portrayed by Amanda Winn-Lee. For centuries, the Mano family has been slaying demons.
They even look the same, purple hair, headband, and that anime-heroine battle bikini and miniskirt. It has a cute lead that makes cute noises when she attacks. But I haven't played it to know if it aged well. Hear, hear. Everyone's forgetting Xena! Xena is THE archetypal warrior princess that everyone in America knows. Its cool how the game follows her chakram when she throws it.
I actually remember this game along with Quest for Camelot were somewhat popular because they were Zelda clones. One that comes to mind is The Summoner 2 on ps2. You play the queen of an entire nation and not do you run around summoning monsters and killing shit you have to sit on the throne and make choices as well as make judgement calls when peasants do stupid shit.
It's like Castlevania, but with a girl character. I can upload it if you want :. Just because it's not considered part of Konami's official canon anymore doesn't negate the fact that it was a fun game. Jeez, no TGL? The only thing better than running around as a robot waifu shooting everything is running around as a robot waifu who can turn into a jet and go shmupping.
Post more. I tried Faussete Amour recently and it's pretty fun. Seems to fit your bill. Not fanart, but transformation scheme. Both were pretty kick ass compared to the US one though Man I remember Valis, too bad they had to fuck it up and make the recent one a porn vn. It doesn't exist. And I'll have to disagree with you on that comment but that doesn't really have anything to do with the thread.
Fuck this stage, I'll try again later. It was developed by Game Arts, who also published the game in Japan. Aiding the software developer was animation studio Gainax, who was responsible for the game's art and story. Also, Princess Maker. PC Engine onlxy though - and expensive. I wasn't that guy, but aside from the title screen with Athena winking at you, it's a pretty terrible game with some of the lousiest collision detection ever known to man.
It's actually fun. Hey everyone, this is a good Valis clone. Only annoying thing is the boss rush before the final boss. I hate it when they do that. But play the arcade version in MAME, so you can hear the fantastic song. Thanks for the recommendations, everyone. Vinyl Goddess from Mars on DOS is pretty good, kind of an easy game though since you get unlimited lives. I got my copy on one of these.
It also has one-shot OVA. Shit's awesome. I could rip it and upload it, if you want to listen to it. Pic related. I played the Makeruna fighting game but it didn't seem interesting. I'll look for the OVA, I love good 90s anime. Sure man, if you want to put the effort it. At least one person me will enjoy it. The usual stuff went through; name changes and censorship. You don't a sword or gun in this game, but you still tear shit up with boomerangs and magic powers.
Also the only Japanese game I know where you can play as a Latino. Also, for some reason in my head I always get this game mixed up with Chakan and load up the Chakan rom and am like wut da fug. Anyway, it's a good little game, but it's tough.
Hey, and it's seeded on Baka. Thanks man! Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon, We had this huge Magical Girl party at my house and a bunch of people played through this while the rest of the room watched. Good times. Forgot there was a direct download link from the site. The FLAC version should appear first, so in the mean time you should enjoy the small scans. While I was googling random shit about this CD, I came across a Japanese wikia about pantie shots in gaming.
I can hardly believe you typed that sentence. Or that you had a "huge Magical Girl party". You are bro tier. What'd you watch? I also just grabbed the OVA off Baka, looks pretty sweet. Also played games for all of them. Monster World IV is a masterpiece. And if you don't, there's also the fan-translation for the original, Mega Drive version. When I was in college, the dorm next to us were all weeaboos with kawaii posters all over and shit. But eventually we got to be friends, a couple of us would bring over some beer and we'd all watch Fist Of The North Star and play FF7 or whatever.

Not only it's one of the best exclusives for Mega Drive it's hilarious as hell, expecially at the ending and the credits. All my money for a sequel! I have searched like hell to find it. Google is your friend. That's weird: Sega of America's marketing was full of anti-Nintendo messages, so why deleted this bonus at the american version of this game? It's Athena: Full Throttle. They probably didn't want to risk it.
Give me a moment to look for it some more. I could check Perfect Dark for you as well. Fuck, found another one but it's more art and stuff from the game. Yeah, shit, it's gotta be out there but I'll be damned. I can check Winny or whatever later, that's probably the best bet. I found a download for it on megaupload.
