Sataraid driver installation disk

There is a JP4 jumper on the top left - anyone know what its for eg. With the non raid drivers I see 2x20GB drives and 2x50GB drives So the non-raid driver works but I need a raid driver for my raid setup. From the above example only 01, at first. No big deal though, as the card works great. The nforce4 sata raid controller support only 01, and the Sil support raid 10, but how is implemented on the K8n neo4 platinum?

The nforce4 sata driver is there. I guess, as others have said, this is not a real hardware raid configuration, it. You silicon image sil copy the Software onto your organization s computers for your organization s use, and you may make a reasonable number of back-up copies of silicon image sil Software, subject to these conditions, Your name and email address will not be added to any mailing. I asked tyan they claim nobody has came to them with the same problem.

Text File. These are new technologies, new equipment, new drivers and software, and things are imaeg going wrong, until most of silicon image sil bugs are eliminated. Despite clicking on this item many times it never did anything.

Start new topic, except no luck. Saved me lot of headache and pain. What a relief!!!! I am absolutely amazed at the nlite software. It is wonderful free utility. I was almost going to buy a pack of floppy disk and external floppy drive. Saved me money! Excellent demonstration. You should definitely be compensated for saving all of us further headache and pain.

I would not mind donating. It helped having clear and concise directions. I hope someone else in the same situation finds these directions.. Thanks a million. I am really happy. I dont know how to thank you. And by the way, good luck for you all. It really helps me much. Thank you again. I just want to say thanks, your tutorial help me out with the headache i had.

It works fine Thanks for your support. Wow, perfect tutorial. Wasted hours to try with a floppy disk, driver would load with F6 in setup, but wouldnt after the XP setup started to copy the files to the hard drive. Thanks for the help!

This article helped me tremendously. You are freaking awesome!!!! This worked perfectly!!! Nice tutorial — works perfectly. Anyway, thanks — I still have some hair left thanks to this.

I spent two days and 3 CD that ended being a coaster. I found your guide and… Yeah it worked. Thanks men for your detailed info. Vineet Garg 4 years ago. Ron Jones 4 years ago. Bob Still 6 years ago.

The SiI probably has a powerful Windows caching driver heavily optimized for WinBench 99 , which provides such high results in this test. In a newer PCMakr04 track test the gap between the controllers is not that large, though Adaptec SA is outperformed by its competitors, while the SiI demonstrates a large gain from using a higher-frequency PCI bus.

It's twice as slow here than the 3ware Good performance scalability of the Adaptec controller with the increase of command queue is also good news. An excellent result.

A tad lower results are demonstrated in the workstation pattern, though Adaptec still retains its leadership. But our hero is an obvious outsider in random reading and writing of large files. The caching controller from 3ware has a small advantage here.

However, Adaptec recoups itself in random reading and especially writing of small files with the large queue depth. The Adaptec controller shows superiority in copying files, especially with high QD.

Nevertheless, according to the averaged results of reading, writing, and copying files with single weight , the Adaptec controller is a tad slower than its competitors, while the SiI is nearly as fast as the 3ware Escalade The defragmentation test again shows evident leadership of the 3ware controller, while the Adaptec model is outperformed even by the SiI Now users don't have to choose a 'controller-enclosure' pair and carry out compatibility tests.

Additional features, like the controller supporting some functions of the enclosure, only amplify the attractiveness of this tandem. There are some disadvantages, of course: for example, our sample of the SA controller was not very stable, its linear reading graph for RAID 10 was evidently below what it should have been. Its RAID 10 performance in typical desktop tasks was not always on a par with the competitors.

At the same time, the AARSA has very strong performance points — server and workstation patterns, copying files especially with a large queue depth. That's another proof for its purely professional profile, while cheaper solutions SiI and the like are often more expedient for consumer and desktop tasks.

The bundle is simple: aside from the enclosure for 4 x SATA drives and a slightly updated AARSA controller there are 4 one-meter SATA cables, a low-profile bracket for a controller it allows to install it into a low-profile PC cases with connected SATA cables , two bulky manuals in various languages one about the controller, the other about the kit , and a CD with drivers and utilities.

The bundle also includes a special 4-wire cable to connect the enclosure to the controller running order indicators on the front panel of the enclosure : The enclosure comes in two colors — beige on the photo and black.
